The raw milk coming to the Albalact factory is collected from farms on the countryside, especially from Ardeal and Bucovina regions. These farms are certified to produce and deliver milk according to European Union norms. When entering the factory and before being unloaded from the transport tanks into the reception tanks, the milk is analysed in the lab in order to determine various parameters, e.g.: antibiotics, microbes and germs, proteins etc. Should the microorganisms not comply with approved limits or traces of antibiotics be detected, the milk is returned to the supplier.
Albalact factory
Albalact owns modern equipment for both processing and packaging the dairy. The factory is completely automated and computerised, practically no employee ever touches or handles the raw milk or the processed products. Once the milk enters the factory, it doesn’t get into contact with the air until the moment the consumer opens the box.
The computers control all processing parameters in real-time - quality, quantity, temperature parameters - as well as packaging parameters.
In the Albalact factory the milk is sterilised at high temperatures and processed with modern equipment, such as the bactofuge milk pasteuriser (to eliminate microorganisms) and the automated standardisation equipment, ultra-pasteurisation equipment, milk and yogurt processing units, processing tanks. The Albalact factory also has packaging systems for fresh products with special disinfection and sterile environment drying – systems which guarantee the quality of packed products for a minimum of 21 days. Our factory also has aseptic packaging systems for UHT products, in completely sterile facilities in the packaging area, with the package being sealed below liquid level - a system which guarantees the quality of the product for 4 months.
Albalact also has staff dedicated to developing new products and a microbiology lab with advanced equipment for analysis and determination.
